Connect to Elysium Testnet
Network parameters, the add-network button, faucet and bridge, and wallet notes.
Add the network
Or add it by hand with these parameters:
| Network name | Elysium Testnet |
| Chain ID | 99801 (0x185d9) |
| Currency | HYPE, 18 decimals |
| RPC | https://testnet-rpc.elysium.kinetiq.xyz |
| Explorer | testnet.elysium.kinetiq.xyz |
| Faucet | elysium.kinetiq.xyz/testnet-faucet |
| Bridge | elysium.kinetiq.xyz/testnet-bridge |
Elysium Testnet settles to HyperEVM testnet (chain 998). The old explorer path elysium.kinetiq.xyz/testnet-explorer redirects to the explorer above.
Get testnet HYPE
- Faucet. elysium.kinetiq.xyz/testnet-faucet gives 0.1 HYPE per address per day.
- Bridge. If you hold HYPE on HyperEVM testnet, bridge it at elysium.kinetiq.xyz/testnet-bridge.
0.1 HYPE goes a long way. Gas is cheap, and the testnet graduation threshold is 0.3 HYPE.
Wallets
MetaMask. Use the button above, or Settings → Networks → Add a network manually with the parameters above. If MetaMask shows a different network name for chain 99801, it is using its own label; the chain ID is what counts.
Rabby. Rabby adds the network when the site asks. You can also add it under More → Add custom network.
Both wallets work with the in-page connect button. WalletConnect is available for mobile wallets.
The wrong Elysium
The viem library exports a chain called elysiumTestnet. It is a different network: Vulcan Forged's Elysium, chain ID 1338, gas token LAVA. It has nothing to do with this Elysium. If you build on ANEMOS, define chain 99801 yourself with the parameters on this page.
Things to know about the network
- Blocks arrive about every 130 ms. Block timestamps have 1-second resolution, so many blocks share a timestamp.
- One sequencer orders transactions. There is no public mempool. Ordering inside a block is by priority fee.
- The base fee floor is 0.1 gwei.
- Testnets reset. Do not keep anything on testnet you would mind losing.
