Staking (preview)
How sANEMOS will work. Disabled until $ANEMOS launches.
Preview. $ANEMOS is not launched, so staking is disabled. The staking contract on testnet is a stub: every action reverts with NotLaunched(). It exists so the interface is real and the app can show it.
What staking does
Stake $ANEMOS and receive sANEMOS. sANEMOS earns from every trade on ANEMOS.
| sANEMOS receives | Source |
|---|---|
| 20% of every trade fee, as $ANEMOS | $ANEMOS buyback |
| 10% of every trade fee, as KNTQ | KNTQ buyback (the other 10% is burned via the Hyperliquid Assistance Fund) |
| 25% off trading fees | Applied to the staker's own trades |
| A vote on the weekly Ticker fund | One vote weighted by stake |
Creator boost
A creator who stakes 100,000 $ANEMOS earns 50% of their tokens' fees instead of 40%. The extra 10% comes out of the treasury share. The FeeRouter already checks the staking contract on every fee; on testnet the answer is always no.
How rewards arrive
Fees accrue in HYPE in the FeeRouter. On mainnet, a BuybackExecutor uses the two buyback pools to buy $ANEMOS and KNTQ, then distributes them to sANEMOS. On testnet those pools are accrued, executed on mainnet.
When
Staking opens after $ANEMOS launches on Elysium mainnet day. Follow @AnemosPad for the date.
