Why Elysium

Elysium in five lines, and why a launchpad belongs on it.

Elysium in five lines

  • Elysium is an Arbitrum Orbit L2 that settles to HyperEVM.
  • HYPE is the gas token.
  • Blocks arrive about every 130 ms, with a target throughput of 300 Mgas/s.
  • A single sequencer run by Conduit orders transactions. There is no public mempool; ordering inside a block is by priority fee.
  • Mainnet launches on November 9, 2026. HyperCore hooks are planned about four weeks later.

Why a launchpad belongs here

Gas comes back. Elysium pays 25% of sequencer fees to the contracts that consume its blockspace. A launchpad consumes a lot of blockspace. ANEMOS passes all of that rebate back to its traders as Tailwind.

HYPE is the unit. Gas, prices, fees and rebates are all in HYPE. There is no second token to hold just to trade.

Fast blocks need a fair start. At 130 ms per block, the first buyers of a new token are whoever reaches the sequencer first. ANEMOS answers with the Batch open: every buy in the first 30 seconds pays the same price.

HyperCore is next door. Elysium settles to HyperEVM, and HyperCore hooks are planned after mainnet. A token that proves itself on ANEMOS has a path to HyperCore spot and, later, perpetuals. See Book and Perp.

What the chain does not do yet

HyperCore precompiles and CoreWriter are not available on Elysium. ANEMOS does not call them. Anything that depends on them is marked "not live" in these docs and "Soon" in the app.
